Stay Alert, America: The Worst Is Yet to Come

Stay alert, America. This is not the time to drop our guards, even for a moment. Nothing has changed since the election to alter the immediate and very real dangers of roadside strip searches, government surveillance, biometric databases, citizens being treated like terrorists, imprisonments for criticizing the government, national ID cards, SWAT team raids, censorship, forcible blood draws and DNA extractions, private prisons, weaponized drones, red light cameras, tasers, active shooter drills, police misconduct and government corruption.

Add to this, forced injections...

Marijuana Decreases Death Rates From Pain Killers By Over 30 Percent
December 5, 2014  |   ManagingPain  |  M.Torres
Every year, painkillers such as percocet, vicodin and other opioids kill thousands. Opioid prescriptions have jumped 300 percent in the last decade and they are the most commonly prescribed drugs on the market. Painkillers are some of the most dangerous and addictive drugs that often lose effectiveness with long-term use. So when a plant comes along that can effectively curb dependency on this popular selling drug, pharmaceutical companies get very get angry. Marijuana does just that.

When did we start accepting the poisoning of our water supply with fluoride and other toxins? When did we start saying it's ok to pollute our food, the planet and ourselves?

We need excellent local police who are well trained, well led, well paid, properly equipped, and who know and obey the Constitution and local law.

To make this happen and to be sure it stays in place we need local community citizen oversight and investigation boards with hire/suspend/discipline/fire authority over local management level officers and investigation and suspension authority over all policepersons.

We also need to get rid of nonsense laws.

The initial memo giving the U.S. President legal cover to carry out an extrajudicial killings was a mere seven pages long Bye Bye American middle class

"I had three goals when I brought this lawsuit," Collins said in a press statement issued today.  One was to expose the illegal practices of District Attorney Hynes and to help drive him from office.  The second was to obtain personal vindication and to demonstrate my innocence.  The third was to receive compensation that would recognize the enormity of the harm that was done to me and my family and would provide financial security for the rest of my life. I accepted the City's offer because it meant that I had achieved all of my goals."

The analysts found that when controlling for the power of economic elites and organized interest groups, the influence of ordinary Americans registers at a "non-significant, near-zero level." The analysts further discovered that rich individuals and business-dominated interest groups dominate the policymaking process. The mass-based interest groups had minimal influence compared to the business-based interest groups. ...new study by two political science professors has found that ordinary Americans have virtually no impact whatsoever on the making of national policy in our country. The analysts found that rich individuals and business-controlled interest groups largely shape policy outcomes in the the United States.

Who is surprised?

All the world oceans will ultimately be contaminated with radioactive waste waters from Fukushima. The fact is that the Japanese Government made the greatest blunder in their history by authorizing the building of nuclear reactors in their earthquake prone nation.  Japanese land and water will remain contaminated for thousands of years because of long-life radioactive isotopes. All living systems-animals, plants and man will be irreparably damaged by the radiation..Japan like Chernobyl will become unlivable.
(AFP) - Edward Snowden says dishonest comments to Congress by the US intelligence chief were the final straw that prompted him to flee the country and reveal a trove of national security documents. If you think the Fukushima situation is bad, consider the fact that the United States is vulnerable to the exact same meltdown situation, except at 124 separate nuclear reactors throughout the country. If anything should happen to our nation's poorly protected electric power grid, these reactors have a high likelihood of failure

The Giant Lie About Fukushima
by KARL GROSSMAN

With the third anniversary of the start of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear catastrophe coming next week, the attempted Giant Lie about the disaster continues—a suppression of information, an effort at dishonesty of historical dimensions.

It involves international entities, especially the International Atomic Energy Agency, national governmental bodies—led in Japan by its current prime minister, the powerful nuclear industry and a “nuclear establishment” of scientists and others with a vested interest in atomic energy.

Nuclear power always has been, always will be, an economic failure

The fifty year failure of nuclear power to be economically competitive compels nuclear advocates to label every pro-consumer analysis as anti-nuclear. The anti-nuclear label is used to avoid the inconvenient truth about nuclear: it is and has been unable to compete economically with the alternatives available. More importantly, it is not likely to be able to compete for the foreseeable future.
