Documenting the (left) eye blind spot:
Ask the individual to cover their right eye, touch their forehead to the positioner, and put their attention on the "X" in the middle of the paper record.  Then, move the target near the middle X, ask, "Do you notice the white target dot?"   Then instruct, "Tell me when the dot seems to disappear" and slowly move the target into the usual blind spot area.  When they report the target has "disappeared" say, "Keep your attention on the X and tell me when you see the dot again."  Move the target away from the center of the typical blind area and mark the various places when it appears.
